Bob Costas commentary before the Chiefs and Panthers game was much needed.  Can't ignore the violent event of Jovan Belcher's murder suicide.   However, Costas' good comments were twisted by those who suggest anytime that a person addresses the role of guns in a murder that they wish to take away the right to bear arms---and you will never win an argument with them
